What is a fanlisting?
A fanlisting is exactly what the name would imply: it is a listing of fans of any given subject; in this particular case the subject is the anime/manga series Oroshitate Musical Nerima Daikon Brothers. Fanlistings are similar to web cliques, the only difference being that everyone is accepted so long as they have a name, a valid email address and live somewhere on this green earth. :)
A fanlisting is not (usually) affiliated with any of the subjects they represent. There is no mailing list, you will not receive prizes or anything for being a member of this fanlisting.
The Series
Nerima Daikon Brothers follows childhood friends and cousins Hideki, Mako, and Ichiro in their quest to build a dome in which they can hold concerts. The three make up the singing group Nerima Daikon Brothers, and together have some wacky adventures all the while trying to raise money with which to build their dome.
The series has a rather unforgettable cast of characters, from the Gadget-detective, slightly crazy Yukika to the adorable musical Pandaikon, a panda with a daikon (radish) growing from its head. Overall the series is completely silly and tends to not take itself seriously - it parodies everything from Johnny Kitagawa (Johnny's Entertainment), to Bae Yong Joon to Michael Jackson to former Japanese Prime Minister Koizumi Junichirou. The NDB fight off bad guys of varying degrees of evil through song - each episode uses the same general songs with different lyrics depending on the situation the NDB are in.

Or Hide-nii as cousin Mako calls him, is the 25-year-old "leader" of the group, and owns the daikon field where the trio one day hope to build their dome. He's loud and rambunctious, and is the general "idiot" type you would find in a comedy duo. His quest to get money and build the dome sometimes clouds his judgment, but overall he is a good guy. He's in love with, and wants to marry his cousin Mako . . . who shoots him down with "it's illegal!" (It's not.
Mako

Mako is the self-proclaimed 19-year-old former idol of the group, determined to return to her former status. She's a material girl, if you could call her that - she has expensive tastes ranging from Dom Perignon to expensive food and clothing. Like Hideki, she is sometimes too focused on what she wants to realize that she's not necessarily doing the best thing for the trio. She will gladly use her feminine wiles to get money from Hideki, and even went as far as to steal Ichiro's money in her quest for plastic surgery. She loves Ichiro, who does not return her affections.
Ichiro

Ichiro is the most level-headed member of the group. In order to raise money to build their dome he works in a host club. When Hideki and Mako lose their heads with their own greed, it is Ichiro who is affected the most, and Ichiro who finally gets them to remember the promise they made to each other. Ichiro would be considered the "straight man", or serious one in the group, but he is hilarious in his own right - he's completely deadpan. About everything. Being molested by a cross-dressing (male) musician's manager? "Ahh. Ahh." Super excited about something? "Ahh. Ahh." Ichiro is completely enamored by Pandaikon, so much so that he even has a song specifically for the furry little creature that goes something along the lines of "You are so soft and fluffy, I love you," and etc. Ichiro does have one special ability - the ability to make anyone, man, woman, panda, fall in love with him by slapping them. Perhaps not so surprisingly, this comes in handy later in the series and is the reason Mako is in love with him.
